We’re thrilled to announce some significant changes to the scene list, especially to how Unions work. These changes will enhance your experience with Womp and unleash infinite new possibilities. Learn more below!

In this lesson:

Introducing Areas

What’s an Area? An Area is where all of your unions and objects will be contained. In each scene, you’re allowed a total of 64 Areas, and inside each of those Areas you can have up to 4000 objects along with several Unions. Objects cannot exist outside an Area, but they can exist outside Unions.

Super Unions: Unions inside Unions

You can now nest unions within other unions! This will allow you to use your unions as primitive shapes, letting you use functions like subtract, intersect, stain and finally, goop, which can be used to blend different unions together. There are so many new possibilities now! Note that you can place unions inside unions up to 3 levels (6 for PRO users) like in the image below:

Negative Unions

Select a Union and make it a negative to subtract complex shapes from other Unions or objects! Play around with Goop rate and toggle material residue to achieve interesting results.
