In this lesson:

Apply Materials

With an object, area, union or group selected, navigate to the material tab in the top bar. Here you can select any material and apply it to the selected object(s).

• My Materials: Shows recently used materials in your current scene.

Edit Materials

Not happy with the off-the-shelf materials? Selecting a material brings up the material panel , where you can change and customize materials according to your own artistic vision. Click here to learn more.

Copy Materials

If you want to edit an existing material, be sure to duplicate the material before editing it, else it will affect all the shapes that have the same material.
